Dr. Liann Osborne identifies as Creole Black deaf woman. Coming from a family that endured perpetual, systematic racism yet could lead their lives with love and compassion helped me become an activist through fierce vulnerability. Buddhist philosophy is my foundation for promoting vulnerability and inclusion in my life. Being a Buddhist since I was a teen I had to learn how to empty my teacup on a  daily basis so I could allow new knowledge, experiences, and lived realities of others to show me something new. This skill is what keeps me humble.
